Everybody Loves Cracker Jack
The print is a “giclée” (a fine art print from a digital source) of a montage of an archive engraving and an actual Cracker Jack box (circa1960).
The name and associated images have enjoyed 117 years of brand recognition and an established national icon. I did it in a “fun” moment of whimsy.

Reasonable Doubt
The print is a “giclée” (a fine art print from a digital source) of a wood cut block carving in the form of a pseudo “Bas Relief”. A shallow cut carving, a technique usually reserved for wood and stone door and wall panels.
What does this bold graphic image evoke to the viewer? Has this person already been pronounced guilty or just starting the prudence of law process? Will the assessment of reasonable doubt be applied?

Aquatic Rendezvous
The print is a “giclée” (a fine art print from a digital source) of a mixed media montage of illustration.
The base plane of the montage is a block of wood I had set aside for a future wood cut design. The natural wood image conjured up in my mind’s eye was the gentle flow of water. All that was needed was the addition of a blue tint and the usual inhabitants of a body of water, fish. The various species have a common destination and purpose, save one iconoclast. No mystery as to what happens next.

Surfer Crab

I always wondered what crabs did on their “days off”.
